Workshops, seminars and conferences are offered to child care center staff, administrators, and registered family child care providers on Saturdays and occasional weeknights. Our trainings are held in Dallas, Tarrant, Denton and surrounding counties.

What is A CEU?
Director, Adminstrators and Owner Training
Camp Fire offer administrative workshops and seminars throughout the year to support the early childhood administrators’ professional development.
Early Childhood Management Institute (ECMI) has been designed for the new or experienced child care directors interested in acquiring or enhancing management skills. Upon completion of this exciting 6-day, 50-hour program, participants are eligible to receive a Child Care Administrator's Credential. The Child Care Administrator's Credential is recognized by the Department of Family and Protective Services (To meet Rule 746.1015(6) of the Minimum Standards for Licensed Child Care Centers.)

Child Development Associate
The Child Development Associate (CDA) Credentialing Program is dedicated to improving the professional status of competent early childhood educators and the growing need for quality child care. A Child Development Associate Credential can be earned by an individual who has successfully completed the required 120 clock hours of coursework, and has successfully completed the CDA assessment. You can earn a credential with an endorsement focusing on infants and toddlers, preschoolers, or family child care through Camp Fire’s Creative Training Solutions CDA Project. Camp Fire helps CDA candidates by providing the required 120 clock hours of early childhood training and by providing up to three on-site observation visits at participants request.

The purpose of Connect4Success is to provide teachers of children birth to 5 years with the knowledge, skills and tools to support healthy social and emotional development in young children and improve their ability for educational success.

Kindergarten Readiness
Camp Fire USA First Texas Council is beginning a project to enhance the quality of early childhood programs. The project Kindergarten Readiness assists low-income children in achieving readiness by the time they enter Kindergarten. It has been identified that a large number of children entering public school are lacking kindergarten readiness skills.
