Aledo Summer Day Camp

Did you know?
During the 2006-07 school year, Camp Fire provided after-school programs for more than 200 students throughout Fort Worth ISD.

Why After-School Programs?
Each day when school lets out, as many as 15 million youth in the U.S. find themselves with “nothing to do.” Researchers have found that teens who are not occupied after school are more likely to use drugs, commit crimes and be involved in a car accident. No wonder that some law enforcement officials refer to the hours between 3PM – 6PM as “the danger zone.” Instead of this free time translating into trouble, after-school programs provide a safe, educational and fun alternative.

How Camp Fire steps in:
Serving the local community, Camp Fire USA offers a variety of after-school programs that provide tutoring and homework help for children while participating in a variety of enrichment activities. Summer and school break day camp are also available.

Summer and School Break Day Camp
